Support Staff
| Julie Griggs | Julie has been a member of our team since 1997; she is the "friendly
face" that usually greets you when you come in the front door; she
assists our attorneys and clients with appointment scheduling and
preparation of the myriad forms needed to properly fund our clients'
trusts; and she makes sure client estate planning documents are ready
for signing at the appointed time. Julie is a graduate of Dexter High School and has attended Eastern Michigan University. She now resides in Chelsea with her husband and two young children. |
| Ruth Parrish | Ruth joined us in 2005 and is a key member of our team. Her
focus is on probate court matters and estate/trust administration.
She assists our attorneys in all aspects of these matters including
preparation of Federal Estate Tax and other Tax Returns, and shepherding
Probate Court matters through the probate process. Ruth has a Bachelor's Degree from Ohio State University (but we try not to hold that against her) and has received a Certificate from the Institute for Paralegal Training in Philadelphia. She has had extensive prior experience in trust administration and tax matters. Ruth lives in Ann Arbor, is married and has two adult children. She has previously lived in many parts of the country and, in spite of our best efforts, still has an allegiance to the Buckeyes! |
| Peter Westerman | Originally responsible for helping to set up the "business end" of
the practice, Peter is now the resident "Computer Geek" and sometimes
Office Manager. He supports our computer network and helps the
rest of us to make use of "technology". Yep!! He's married to one of our attorneys. |
