Amy N. MorrisseyAmy is devoted to assisting clients with their estate planning and administration needs. Her participation in state and local bar activities enables her to bring the most recent information and techniques to her clients. Amy's background includes advocacy for seniors and persons with disabilities. As a member of the Probate & Estate Planning Council of the State Bar of Michigan, Amy presently chairs the Contested and Uncontested Probate Proceedings Committee. As a member of the Committee, she has been active in developing probate court rules and implementing uniformity of practice in our State. Amy is also involved on the Washtenaw County Estate Planning Council, whose membership includes a network of of professionals from disciplines related to estate planning. Amy is frequently invited to lecture on Estate Planning and Estate Administration for both her colleagues and the public. She has completed the Probate and Estate Planning Certificate Program through the Institute for Continuing Legal Education. Amy's practice also includes assisting clients with residential real estate transactions, pre- and postnuptial agreements and corporate transactions. Active in her community, Amy is a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and a member of the Advisory Board of the Housing Bureau for Seniors, a service of the University of Michigan Health System.
